I didn’t realize at the time how much one piece of paper with the words, “Bartlesville, Oklahoma,” would mean to me. Playing baseball this past summer on the Branford Post 83 American Legion Senior team turned out to be the ride and experience of a life time. I should have known from the start that this wasn’t going to be like any other team I had played on before. That this team was indeed special, destined for great things, big moments and a once in a life time experience.
